We have many years of experience in providing professional and interesting tours for visitors to the Algarve. As an Algarvian company we know the Algarve and show the towns, villages and countryside in a friendly and interesting way. The people, its traditions, culture, the variety of its fauna, and its countryside - we offer a large selection of tours in different manners to see the Algarve and also, travel too ther places such as Lisbon, Fátima, Spain, and Gibraltar.
We are not only pleased to accept reservations from individuals but also offer special prices for either small or large groups. We have available coaches from 16 – 60 seats and also cars and minibuses for smaller groups for 1 – 8 passengers available for airport transfers or tours. This can be for a specific tour and destination, or just for as a Transfer from and to Faro Airport. We are a fully Licensed Travel Agency and hold all the necessary Insurance Policies required under Portuguese Law.
1 Day Trip: Gibraltar
This journey takes you further south of the Algarve and you will drive through Spain passing the outskirts of Seville. Here you will be able to enjoy a panoramic glimpse of the architectural splendour this great City. Continuing further south you will pass the town of Jerez de la Frontera that is the home and area of the popular drink named "Sherry". From here the coach takes the famous countryside "Route of the Bulls" to Gibraltar where you will have an ample five hours visit to explore the Rock and its town.
1 Day Trip: Eastern Algarve
This tour begins with a visit to Faro the capital of the region of the Algarve with its 13th Century City centre. The excursion then proceeds to the Moorish town of Olhão a key fishing town with its important fish market. Visit the attractive and charming old town of Tavira with its 4th Century Roman Bridge and its many churches. Then on to Gilão and Cacela Velha. Finally to Monte Gordo and Vila Real de Santo António the border town to Spain, the two countries separated by the generous mouth of the River Guadiana.
1 Day Trip: Evora & Monsaraz
Travel to the north across the plains of the Alentejo to the quaint village of Monsaraz dating from the middle ages and protected by its own castle. Then on to the capital of the Upper Alentejo region, Évora, named as a World Preservation Town and rich in history. This town is definitely famous as being one of the most interesting places to visit in Portugal. Here you will find the ruins of the Palace of Diana built by the Romans. Among the many interesting buildings you will see and visit are the Cathedral and the Chapel of Human Bones.
1 Day Trip: Fatima
On this journey to the north of the capitol city of Lisbon you will visit the town of Vila Franca de Xira, the home of the specially bred bulls and its herdsmen in their traditional uniforms. During the four hour visit to Fátima you will see the Basilica, Cova da Ira and the House of Saints.
Half Day Trip: Lagos, Sagres and Cape St Vincent
A visit to the very attractive town of Lagos to see the oldest Slave Market in Europe, the Golden Chapel of "Santo António", and then on to the interesting rock formation at Ponta da Piedade. From here you are driven along the coast through the small town of Sagres to the most south-western point in Europe which is the world famous location where Prince Henry the Navigator worked and dreamed of discovering the world. It is said that he never left the shores of Portugal although by his efforts the unknown world was explored and maps were created of new found continents and islands.
1 Day Trip: Lisbon City Tour & Shopping
The journey takes you across the fertile plains of the Alentejo and through its fascinating cork forests. As you arrive at Lisbon you will pass by the impressive statue of "Christo Rei" before crossing over the longest suspension bridge in Europe. The view from this bridge is stunning as Lisbon and its riverfront can be seen in detail. A visit will be made to some of the most outstanding buildings in this great City and will include the Tower of Belém, Mosteiro de Jerónimos, the Aqueduct of Águas Livres, the centre Marquês de Pombal, and the oldest surviving part named Alfama.
Half Day Trip: Loule Market
This tour allows you three hours of free time to wander around this famous market and its town and to see and experience a traditional rural market with its atmosphere and characters. The produce and handicrafts that are on display are often locally made - perhaps, you will be inclined to buy some as presents to take home!
1 Day Trip: Photo Tour
This tour is a must for the holiday tourist who wishes to see and appreciate the culture of the Portuguese in the Algarve. You will be shown their traditions, their dress, their way of life, their culture, their instruments for working the fields, and in fact, nearly everything that was, and still is in some areas, their day to day existence. You will also be driven inland into the hills to see the vast difference in the terrain, fauna and crops, all of which are only limited by the different seasons.
Half Day Trip: Portimao Shopping
On route you will visit Carvoeiro and Praia da Rocha; the latter being the first location that originally attracted tourist to the Algarve. Ample "Free Time" is allowed for leisure and shopping in Portimão which is the commercial centre of the Algarve and its second largest town. Well-known for its shoes, handicrafts and gift shops, you can also take in Art Galleries and Antiques. On the return journey there is a planned stop for wine tasting!
Half Day Trip: Quarteira
This tour is a chance to see how the original fish markets are still held on the beach. It is full of bustle and character.
1 Day Trip: Seville City Tour & Shopping
A must for all tourists that have yet to visit this famous city. Packed with interesting buildings and churches, the city is full of character and atmosphere. Although, there is of "Free Time" allowed you will definitely not want to miss visiting the Santa Cruz Quarter of the City together with its fascinating enclosed palace "Real Alcazar" that was built by the Moors - one of the most important and interesting places to see in the Iberian Peninsular.
Half Day Trip: Silves - Monchique
Silves was the old Moorish capital of the Algarve and was later largely destroyed by an earthquake in 1755. As the cultural centre of the Moorish Empire in the Iberian Peninsular the remaining parts of the castle and its walls are well worth a visit as a reminder of its historic past. The trip takes you up into the mountains to taste the thermal waters at the spa village of Caldas de Monchique. From here you will be driven up further to the highest point in the Algarve at Foia. Below, you will see stretching out as far as the eye can see the coastal plain and the Atlantic Ocean - an impressive sight!.
1 Day Trip: Tour From Silves to Cape St Vincent
This tour is a combination of the two different Tours taking the visitor both to the highest point in the Algarve and to the most south-western location in Europe. It is a tour highly recommended to the tourist who wishes to see as much as comfortably possible in one day.
